Expanding Your Color Palette

Guest Instructor: Kimberly Kent

In this excellent companion to my Making Your Own Paint class, guest instructor and color expert Kimberly Kent will help you expand your encaustic palette while you develop your color sensibility. Learn to mix, glaze and see color better. The exercises and techniques in this class will give you new tools for understanding how to mix just the color you need. Each student will create a full range of colors from basic colors and leave class with a traditional color wheel and charts to use for future reference. The class will be taught in encaustic, with a set of basic mixing colors. All supplies and tools will be provided.

Confirmation, directions to my studio and additional information will be emailed to each student upon registration. Space is limited to 6 students so classes fill quickly.

Classes must be paid for in full by cash, check or credit card prior to the class to confirm your spot. When your payment is received you will be emailed a confirmation notice, additional information about the classes and a map to my studio in SE Portland.

Cancellation and Liability Policies

  • Cancellation 7 days before the class date = full refund or may change to another class.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the class date = full refund only if the space is filled by another paying student.
  • No show = no refund.
If the workshop is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund. If another instructor must be substituted for Linda Womack due to illness or emergency you will have the option to attend the class with the substitute instructor or cancel/reschedule without penalty.

Should any injuries occur during or as a result of participation in any class or workshop, the registered student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Linda Womack and all employees, instructors and volunteers connected with Linda Womack Fine Art.
