Encaustic Workshops
Encaustic is the art of painting with molten beeswax mixed with colored pigments and resin. The results are like no other medium—mysterious, deep, and translucent, with a glow that seems to emanate from within. I offer a wide variety of beginning and intermediate workshops in my private studio in SE Portland throughout the year and I teach internationally during the summer.

I recentely took the Begining Encaustic class and loved it!! Linda is extremely knowledgable on different ways you can use encaustic. I also liked how all of the supplies were included in the class and that plenty of information was provided as to where to buy them. Linda is just the all-round perfect teacher. She is so creative, very patient. She intuitively knows what is needed for each individual student... she knows when to jump in and when to step back... always there to inspire -- love that! Her instruction is easy to follow and doesn't even mind when she's asked a million questions about things she already covered ;-) All this and she's fun too! Cancellation and Liability Policies
- Cancellation 7 days before the class date = full refund or may change to another class.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the class date = full refund only if the space is filled by another paying student.
- No show = no refund.
If the workshop is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund. If another instructor must be substituted for Linda Womack due to illness or emergency you will have the option to attend the class with the substitute instructor or cancel/reschedule without penalty.
Should any injuries occur during or as a result of participation in any class or workshop, the registered student agrees to indemnify
and hold harmless Linda Womack and all employees, instructors and volunteers connected with Linda Womack Fine Art.
